8dp5dt, bleeding, lighter pregnancy test than yesterday

last night at 7 days past I had some light red bleeding when I wiped, this morning 8 days past it’s brown & when I tested it was a little lighter (gone darker as it’s dried) see picture attached. I am worried as my bloat has gone & boobs feel normal. Hoping it’s not chemical pregnancy & was implantation bleeding. Anyone else have a similar situation ?

Heya. I don’t really have much experience of this to offer, but just wanted to say fingers and toes all crossed the lines keep getting darker and I can say a big congratulations!! Light bleeding is totally normal post implantation, and symptoms come and go without meaning much…. Hoping this is it for you🤞💪🙏 ☘️ 🤗 xxx

Thank you so much it was such a shock as I am symptomless really but how sad I can’t get excited, I’ll know more Sunday once I have 2nd blood drawer. I’m trying not to get ahead of myself yet as I don’t want to be really upset if things aren’t right, it’s such a rollercoaster. I would be extremely unlucky if this is another ectopic. Hope your ok ❤️

Oh I know….. the balance between wanting to enjoy the amazing news and trying to be cautious until you’re more certain is so tough. But it looks pretty good, so I so so so hope it all turns out brilliantly! 🤞 I’m ok thanks, still not doing anything , holiday soon and then back to the rollercoaster when we’re back xx

I had this with our first which was a chemical, but also had it with our third, 1 day it was lighter the next it wasn't, and I'm 29 weeks pregnant... 🤷🏻‍♀️ I would either do one for the next two days or was 48 hours and just do one x

Thank you ❤️ I had my bloods done today so I’ll see in a couple days to see if the hcg has doubled 🤞🏻 I’ll probably do another test tomorrow too. I don’t know much about chemical pregnancies can you still have high hcg levels ? Today it was 141 xx

my clinic don't test bloods so we just had to go with the lines on tests until the viability scan 🤦🏻‍♀️

Hi - I had the same bleeding but not as early. Mine was day 5/6/7 post 14th y pregnancy test. Brown spotting - I’m still pregnant (6 weeks) with lines getting darker. Obviously not had viability yet, but bleeding isn’t necessarily a bad sign.

I never test early mind for this reason - so I would wait until oficial test day to see how things are progressing.

Thank you, I did another today & it’s not got darker so obviously I’m worrying a little, have period type cramps this morning too, have too had cramps ? Amazing news that yours are getting darker 🤞🏻❤️ If your worried you can go to your EPU at 7 weeks & they scan you xx

I did have cramps too - similar to period cramps but much lighter. Only a couple of times and then stopped. I rang the clinic and the nurse send brown bleeding is normal and so are the cramps and is most likely something coming away fro transfer/implantation. I hope this is the case - we have a 7 week scan booked for Thursday so we will find out then. 🤞🤞

🤞🤞🤞 for your too - this is just the most difficult experience and I think everyone of us is an absolute rock for being able to go through it!

Thank you it’s just really hard to stay hopeful isn’t it, with my ectopics I had brown blood at the start so it’s hard to think this can be normal. Ahh that’s amazing I have everything crossed for you ❤️ Thank you I guess I’ll know more tomorrow after blood results xx

Hi Greencook. I just had my second transfer a few weeks ago and was getting positives from3dp5dt right up until 2 days prior to my OTD when they suddenly started getting lighter and was eventually negative on my OTD. My clinic confirmed a chemical pregnancy. I didn’t have any bleeding whatsoever until later on my OTD. My first cycle ended pretty much soon after my positive OTD, I’d had heavy red bleeding 8-10dp5dt. The fact that your tests are a little lighter and you’ve had some bleeding might indicate things aren’t great, but it could also be that you’ve had implantation bleeding and your test could be lighter due to many different factors. I hope for you it’s the latter but I just wanted to be honest. Honestly, having just gone through it please try your best to stop testing until your OTD. I wish I’d stopped testing and just tried my best to relax. The constant testing just threw up more questions than answers. Good luck! Xx

So sorry to hear that 😣❤️ Well I’ve tested today day 9 & it’s darker. I had my bloods done yesterday & they was 141 do you still get high hcg with chemical ! I have I idea, getting bloods again tomorrow & praying they have double. Bleeding has stopped but I have had some dull cramping this morning xxx

I’m not sure about hCG levels with chemical pregnancies, but it’s obviously high enough that I was getting positive tests for around 9 days before it dropped. My hCG levels were up to 856 with my pregnancy last year before I miscarried. I think pretty much every pregnancy is entirely different for each person so it’s difficult to compare. 141 could be amazing for you and not for me. It’s a good sign that the test is darker today and the bleeding has stopped. As long as you don’t get any heavy red bleeding then you’re still in the game. Hopefully the bloods tomorrow will bring you some comfort 🙂 xx

Yea it’s all new to me about chemical I am just so scared about another ectopic I’ve had 4. I need to catch a break like us all in this horrible situation 😣 yea I know the numbers yesterday mean nothing really just relying on tomorrow to give me a glimmer of hope & even then you can let relax. Id like to see it double every 2 days for at least a week because I’d be content it’s not ectopic as one of mine was doubling as normal until I was in a lot of pain xx

Hi Greencook,I had similar situation when I was pregnant with my daughter.

My bleeding stopped after 2 days in the second week of pregnancy. But, every week, I had bleeding for a day until week 13.

Now, my daughter is one month old.

Bleeding is not a bad sign, except it gets heavier and darker.

Thank you so much for replying it seems to have stopped now but I did get some cramps this morning but they’ve gone. Torture isn’t it. I’m only 4 weeks today so very early I’m just hoping all is well xxx

hi sorry to hear that, yes I’m 21 weeks pregnant now. I bled quite a bit of red but I think it was a popped cyst maybe … after that I had brown bleeding for a bit xx

That's amazing news! So my bleeding was when I wiped and for maybe an hour then it's stopped I didn't need a pad etc and last few days it's just been brown bleeding/discharge. I have tortured myself for days as I am still getting symptoms of pregnancy but I know that could be my hcg levels and god knows how many pregnancy tests I've done just to see that positive. Thankfully epu are seeing me Thursday for a viability scan xx

5+2 . I managed to push them to scan me just before 6 week mark as I said my mental health was shit with worry and anxiety. It's so hard as I hear it's good it's stopped but then read really positive experiences like yourself now and then bad ones. But I guess I will know Thursday xx

it will most likely be implantation bleeding but I know my sister & friend bled & was a lot & they was fine but it’s hard not to worry I hope all goes ok let me know xx
