So today is Day 12 after my Day 3 embryo transfer and I've got myself into a bit of a panic. I started testing a little early (d10) and got a super faint line on my FRER but it took the whole 10 minutes to actually show anything. A similar thing happened yesterday but the line was ever ao slightly darker (really faint still). This morning I did another and again its still faint but even lighter than day 10s and took just under 10 minutes to show anything. On the camera you can hardly see the lines but in person there's a little something still there. I'm not sure whether this even means anything or whether its something I should be worrying about but I'm in a bit of a panic.
P.s tomorrow is my official test day, but worried if the frer is only showing a faint line then the hospital preg. Test is not going to show anything.
Anyone else had something like this happen?

Hi lovely, was this a fresh transfer? If so then it could still be the HCG from your trigger shot. They will fade and then get stronger again if you are pregnant. Usually they say that if the line hasn't appeared in the window of time they allow (3 - 5 mins) then you should discount the result as it's not accurate. But it's hard not to get excited when you do see something! Generally FRER seem to be the most accurate of all the tests (even hospital ones) - but a blood test will confirm for sure what is going on.
Thank you for your reply. This was a fresh transfer but my trigger shot was on the 25th so thought that this wouldn't show now. Just spoke to my clinic as I was in a bit of a panic...they've basically said just wait till tomorrow and if we are still unsure they might send me for bloods to double check. The line starts to show between 5-10 mins. I tried to time it to make sure it wasn't too far after I had taken the test that the line shows. The instructions say up to 10 mins so im just really confused now :s
Aw sorry it's so confusing. There is definitely a line there! It is possible that it could be a chemical pregnancy - so the embryo started to implant but then for whatever reason didn't carry on. But let's hope that your test tomorrow shows a stronger line! x
Hi All. Thank you so much for your messages!! I was so stressed out yesterday that I did another test in the evening and one today (OTD). Thankfully the first response test yesterday was definately darker than the previous day. The clear blue I did this morning was quite faint but definately there. Sent it to my clinic and they were happy to call it positive ☺. So happy!! Fingers crossed it sticks. I had two day three embryos transferred so excited to find out how many made it.
Now for the next 3 week wait till the first scan...eek (as if the tww wasn't hard lol).
Wishing you all all the best in your fertility journeys ❤
Thank you so much. Its so nice having people on here that you can actually share your journey with seeing as you can't really tell alot of people what your going through. Although I think I need to find a way to remove Google from my phone and laptop lol!!
So looks like I might of got too excited to soon. Started getting period pain type cramps and bleeding today. Thought it was only brown old blood to begin with but turned bright red this eve. Looks like its over for me know but will find out 100% tomorrow at my blood test However prepared you feel you are for this journey just doesn't ever feel like enough to help manage these feelings.
Thank you! Went for beta today and hcg sitting fairly low at 48 but will need to go in again in 48 hrs to be able to tell if its increasing or not. Fingers and toes crossed it doubles by then x
