Testing Positive on FRER 6dp5dt, can you get a false positive !?

I am freaking out a bit ! I am trying to feel excited & positive but also I am stressing a bit. Can you get a false result. I have had a history of ectopic pregnancies so for obvious reasons I’m panicking a little. Can I ring my doctors for a blood test do you think or would they refuse ? X

I would retest in 2 days then ask for bloodwork.

Hi, if you didn’t use a trigger shot then it’s hugely unlikely to be a false positive! Congratulations xx

If it was on a FRER then I don't think you can get false positives unless you had the trigger shot which can stay in the system for a little while - assuming if it was a FET then you wouldn't have had so congratulations! My GP was happy to do HCG blood tests but many aren't for some reason. Your clinic may do (mine didn't) or you can get it done privately in person or online/post. Not sure whether it could tell you anything about ectopic at this stage though so that's maybe one to discuss with your clinic/doctors.

Thank you yes this is an FET, I have put a request in to my doctors so hopefully should get a call back by Friday as it’s terrible to get hold of anyone at the moment, I’m hoping with my history they will do bloods & monitor me closely xx
