hi all , since my last post ( hematoma ) my bleeding stopped 2 days ago , went for a scan today , I am supposed to be 9 weeks 2 days , hematoma is looking very small but the big concern is that I am measuring 5 days behind,( 8 weeks and 4 days) , they said the heartbeat is looking normal . I know I normal to measure like 2/3 days behind but not that much , I am very concerned about . Did anyone measured almost a week behind and on the next scan was ok ?

Hey. Glad to hear your scan was ok and everything looks good. I have worked in early pregnancy scan places and although I don’t scan myself it is quite common to measure small/big by upto a week. It depends upon the sonographer scanning and can vary for person to person. Wish you luck xx

Thank you so much for your reply, I am concerned about the fact that last time I was 7 weeks 4 days and I was measuring 7 weeks 2 days , and in 2 weeks time I am with 3 days more behind, the scan is done on the same sonographer scan . They didn’t measure the heartbeat, just said is looking normal

When is your next scan? Maybe ask the heartbeat number xx

My next scan is at 12 weeks ,That I don’t understand, why they will not measure the heartbeat when is obviously that is growing slowly.

I dot know if I should wait now until the next scan or to do a private one In about 2 weeks time

Yeah I agree it would have been so much easier. If you feel you are going to be anxious and worried I would def recommend a scan but if you are managing ok then it’s best to wait till 12 weeks xx

I measured 5 days behind at 7+6 but then have been measuring ahead since my nuchal scan and at another scan over the weekend. Currently at 17 weeks and all seems to be going well so far🤞🏽🤞🏽Hopefully it’ll all catch up for you too! I heard that during the early weeks the measurements can’t be too accurate and a couple of mm can make a big difference in dates!
