Brown spotting 12 hours after Frozen embryo transfer?

This is my third FET with my last 5 day embryo and this never happened to me 😅

Good luck and try not to worry. I’ve not had a FET before, only fresh transfers, but any brown spotting has been explained to me as dry blood potentially caused by the procedure just taking its time to leave your body. If I’m doubt give your clinic a call. All the best x

It’s happened to me a couple of times I think it’s just from the catheter/procedure as my clinic always say ‘you might get some spotting after dont worry’ especially with a FET we are on so much progesterone that our cervix is quite sensitive. Good luck for test day xx

Hi amal. Could just be down to the proceedure or irritation from pessary use. Brown blood is old blood, so should clear. You could try pessaries in your back passage for a bit to give the front a rest. Drink plenty of water and keep an eye out for any infection. Hope all continues as it should. Diane
