Hello everyone, so here we go again, tomorrow I start my down regulation injections on a long protocol cycle. I am really excited to start again but I also feeling so frightened about the journey ahead, the injections don't bother me so much, I can cope with those it's just the constant worrying and waiting that I struggle with. On both our previous cycles, we although we managed to get blastocyst both times we didn't have any of high enough grade to freeze which was hard to deal with. Does anyone know of anything I can do to improve egg/embryo quality? I am taking a pregnancy vitamin, eating lots of avacado and fresh greens, cutting out caffine and alcohol etc. Anything I can do to help, I will! xx

Here we go again...
Hey mrs I start injections tomorrow too on our 2nd cycle and feel the same excited and nervous. We got none to freeze last time either so really hoping for a better result this time.keep in touch xx
I start down regging for the 1st time tomorrow....just want to get it all over with now. I don't know if it's normal but my moods swing from "I can do this!" to "I can't be bothered with all this" in a heartbeat. Hate to think how I'll be feeling in 1-2wks time. My dh has told me he's removing any sharp objects from the house for his own safety lol!
Best of luck with this cycle x
Good luck to you both, it's a very nerve wracking time but trying to remaining positive really helps. I go through spells of being really excited and raring to go, to times when I don't think I can do it. At least there's a few of us going through it at the same time. Keep us updated on how your both doing. Fingers crossed!! Xx
Hi Billiejean01. Just wanted to wish you well with it all and of course for success. The quality of follicles and therefore eggs can possibly be improved, by lots of different approaches including dietary by adding more protein and zinc to your diet. Well you will already know about protein, I am sure. Good food sources of zinc include meat, shellfish, milk and dairy foods such as cheese, bread, and cereal products such as wheat germ. This is why milk is so often favoured when going through a cycle of treatment, as it covers both protein and zinc. It should help with building up your endometrium too. Acupuncture and hypnotherapy also have been known to improve blood flow to the ovaries. Good luck! Diane
Hi Billiejean, I'm not stimming in my second cycle and have found this cycle much easier as I know what to expect. It's much less stressful and I've managed to take it all in my stride with only a couple of minor wobbles along the way. Just keep doing what you're doing now, taking care of yourself and I am sure all will be fine. We didn't get a freeze either so this time I am not expecting one which makes it a little easier in the run up to things. Good luck with everything x x x
