Hi everybody. I've not posted in a while since my BFN, however I jumped straight back in to it and we had our 2nd transfer yesterday. We are so hopeful still, however I cant shake the feeling that getting excited will only lead to disappointment so I'm trying to think negatively so if it is positive I will be nicely surprised. Our clinic have been incredibly supportive, They recommended some counselling for us which they have kindly paid for on our behalf which I did feel was very beneficial in giving me the courage to move past the failed transfer and try again. Love and hope to everybody in all stages of your IVF journey xxxx

Glad to hear you've been well supported, it all helps! I kind of tried to do this in my 2ww, expect the worst and the best will be a surprise....not quite sure if it works but understand your way of thinking. Wishing you lots of luck for a BFPxx

I am sorry you didn’t get your BFP first time around, this process is so hard. Like you, I’ve had to force myself to be a bit pessimistic on our second try, as I was so devastated the first time around as I really, truly believed it would work first time. I think that helped! I’m glad you managed to find some support and feel ready to go again. Sending you lots of luck and good vibes, I really hope you get that BFP xx

So pleased to hear your clinic are so supportive of you and that you have been been able to avail of some counselling. I’m wishing you so much luck for a positive outcome this time. I do think it’s really hard not to get excited, it’s only natural. Keep thinking positive thoughts and hopefully positive things and happiness will come your way. Lots of love xx

Vic! I love your lab! I have a 20 month black lab too! How long have you been trying to conceive? We have been trying for just over 2 years and it’s my first IVF cycle. Very nervous!

That’s s great clinic you have. I think using counselling is very important as it helps dealing with and understand all your emotions.

Good luck xxx

you are absolutely right, it has helped me realise that being stressed isn't going to help anybody. I also think I may start yoga to help me clear my mind. xxx
