when to implant after bilateral salpingectomy?

Hi All,

Just wondering if anyone has any thoughts on when best to implant, I had both Fallopian tubes taken out yesterday as they were both blocked/swollen due to past infection.

We have 7 (untested) embryos in the freezer and was wondering when we could start implanting? We were told recovery time is 4 weeks but this feels a bit short. I am now 41 so want to get going but don’t want to risk doing it too soon either!

As always, thanks so much for your help & support.

Hello, I had my tubes removed on 22nd March and my clinic advised I allow one natural cycle before starting treatment. I therefore started on the first day of my last period (around 6 weeks after surgery) and had my embryo transfer Monday 16th May. Both my gynaecologist and clinic gave similar advice. It also depends on how you feel too, some recover quicker than others so listen to your body. Xxx
