I had my 2nd cycle 1st frozen embryo transfer this morning (4BC). Wanted to know success stories from this embryo grading?
Thank you 😊

I'm in the same boat, see my post - healthunlocked.com/fertilit...
I've heard successful stories with lower grade emrbyos. Once, in my old clinic a nurse told me for her grading embryos is like a beauty contest as they can't really see the whole picture. Don't feel disheartened, think positively your little embryo was good enough to be frozen, survived the thawing and is now where it belongs! My clinic in Turkey doesn't say anything about gradings, doc only says we have a few good embryos and when I've asked about the grading he told me in a polite/joke like way that this is none of my business kind of 😅😅😅😅Wishing you best of luck! 🤞🤞🤞🤞🍀🍀🍀❤️❤️❤️
Aw thank you, really helpful and lightens the mood too! I told myself I wouldn’t Google or think in to it… and here I am😅 Thank you so much 😍❤️
Hi there,
I’m our first two cycles we transferred a 5Ab each time, with perfect uterine linings and levels. They both failed. On our last cycle we transferred 1 5Ab and 1 4ab. They both stuck. The gradings are a good indicator that the embryo will survive the ivf processes and appear to be doing what they should, but they have no bearing on their genetic viability. Some embryos are just not destined to make it!
Xx
I have three 4BC and ended up reading a variety of research articles!… it looks like the live birth rate, on average, is roughly 30 percent. Considering approx one in three ivf patients have a baby I didn’t think those stats were too bad at all! Xx
Hi hun, Jup me 🤗 currently anxiously waiting for my 12 week scan coming Monday but mine was 4BC (or 4CB, can exactly remember but reminded me of CBeebies hahah).
Originally at my fresh cycle I had 3 embryo’s making it it blastocyst stage. But due to OHSS fresh transfer was cancelled and it was a freeze all. At that time they said I had 1 very good grade, 1 good and 1 little bit less graded. And if it wasn’t for the ‘freeze all’ the lesser one wouldn’t have been frozen. Fast forward, the best graded one did do nothing, the other was a chemical and this little one graded less and almost didn’t even make the cut is now growing away beating all the odds.
At my last FET I was quite down about the grading and the specialist doing the transfer said they wouldn’t transfer it if it wasn’t good enough and generally they don’t like telling the grades (I forced it out of them haha) so he gave me some more hope and he was right!
Good luck hun, I really hope you will have success this cycle! ❤️🤞🏼
Hi i had my success with 5 bc on day 6 after 7 years and 6 faild ics don’t give up my baby boy is now 7 weeks old
If its good enough to freeze its good enough to make a baby. Good luck fingers cross 🤞 x
