Buserelin timings ?

Hi, I’m starting my Buserelin tomorrow. Past cycles I’ve always done Buserelin and stims in the morning . But my new nurse said no, I should do them in the evening. (7-9pm)

Does it matter? Thanks

Thanks for replying. It’s not my first round but this new nurse is telling me all the opposite to last cycles so it’s making me over think and double check. Well, 8pm… I’m going to copy you! X

Hey for what it’s worth, I know where all different but I went for my scan today and my lining is 3.5 and they need it to be below 4mm so that’s a good sign! They spoke with the dr & they are happy to go ahead with transfer and progesterone.. so fingers crossed you’ll be the same 🙏🏼💫🤍

Hi love, I’ve always done any stims in the evenings but I wouldn’t have thought it makes much difference.I’d follow their advice xx

I’ve had one round of IVF before and I done mine in the morning and plan on doing the same this time. Perhaps you could call your clinic and just double check with them if you’re concerned about it. I’m sure they would be happy to confirm if it settles your mind

They suggest evening so they can adjust the dosage after any scans that day. I did 7 rounds and it was always the evening for all injections.

Yes this is why she said it. I just wonder if it made a difference to the outcome etc . Thank you xx

Hi - I was advised to do them in the morning before 11am (have now got into a routine of injections, breakfast, work). I guess every clinic is different, I suggest contacting the clinic to double check if you’re worried. I always say no question is a silly question, don’t be afraid to clarify info/ask ☺️ Good luck with it all!

Thanks for your reply. x

I don’t think it matters what time you do it, as long as it’s the same time every day. I used to do mine in the evening because that was better for me. They might perfer the evenings because of the trigger timing etc. good luck x

Thank you everyone for replying. Changing nurse has really confused me with different approaches to everything . So forgive me if I’m a bit needy on here this cycle .Xxx
