Testing early

I had my embryo put back on Monday. Stupidly I tested this morning and it’s a clear negative. I’m hoping it’s too early but I know lots of people seem to get positive tests 5dp 5dt. Any words of advice - I feel gutted 😭❤️

As you say, way way to early. Absolutely possible that the HCG is much too low to detect. Try and hold off now until OTD it’s only going to stress you out more if you keep testing. Most reliable for a result is 9dp5dt, I have seen it change up until then so keep the faith xx

Thank you so much for your reply . Can’t stop crying today but maybe the meds and maybe the realism that’s it’s failed. Like you say up until then it can change I suppose. Thank you much appreciated xxxxx

The best advice is to step away from the tests for now!! 9dp5dt is your best bet and this result can definitely change. Wishing you so much luck xx

Hi I know it’s still very very early . I’ve just had bits of cramping but I’m sure it’s the meds as I’m patches , pessaries and an added injection due my age x x how are you doing ?

Hello! Just to say that I also had a transfer on Monday. 😊👋 driving myself crazy with the 2WW already. My official test date isn’t until Friday (8th) but I think I’ll probably test on Tuesday/Wednesday to prepare. When’s your OTD? Have you tested again? I’m feeling like I’m out already - my resting heart rate has plummeted and I’ve got all my typical PMS symptoms 😔 xxx

My OTD is 11 aprile and i have no intention testing. Hope my period doesn't show up.

I hope so much that you get a positive test. I am going to test on the 10th, the day after my 40th birthday. This is our 3rd attempt. I can’t believe the world would be that kind. I’ve got no symptoms of anything but I don’t get a period when not on meds. Seems like everywhere I look at the moment there is a pram.

Hope you are feeling a bit better today. Sounds like lots of us in the tww just now. Good luck to everyone in this thread. We can do it😀. Also just wanted to say having had both positives and negatives, try to ignore the symptoms if you can as they just play with your mind. My positive was when I had no symptoms and was sure it had failed.xxx

I have bloods arranged for the 11th so will try & hold off testing until then but will likely crumble on the 10th. 🤞

Not long keep going - the 10th should give you a good indication for sure . My clinic yiu just do a home test and report the results x x
