Stupidly did an early test

hi, we are five days lost a 5 day transfer and I stupidly tested today. The result was negative - please tell me all is not lost. It’s so hard to stay sane during this time

Hi. No advice but I’m at the same stage as you. 5dp5dt. Despite knowing it’s too early I tested today and yesterday and tested negative. I think it’s too early. I’ve read that implantation completes today. I’m hopeful for us both, just wanted to give you reassurance you are not alone. And also not alone in feeling the need to test and worrying! Look after yourself and I hope soon we both have good news x 🍀

have you still managed to hold out and not test? I haven’t yet! I really want to but my husband says no!

I’ve gone behind everyone’s back and tested, it was negative. They have all now had a go at me and told me otd is that for a reason. And this stress is not good which I know is right. If you can, I would say don’t as it’s best to wait and know for sure. Doubts really don’t help. I have no control whatsoever. Feel silly too. When is your otd? My clinic said Saturday but when I went there yesterday another nurse said Sunday. I know some say 2 weeks after transfer.

That’s really hard, don’t be hard on yourself for doing it though as so many people do it. I’ve been told Saturday also

I tested early and got a negative too, tested again at 8 days and it was positive, that was still early though. 5 days is way too early. Give it another few days and try again. Keeping everything crossed for you! Xxx

well you’re already aware (judging by the title) that this was super early! OTD is there for a reason, or they would’ve advised us all to test that early. Most women get a positive around the 8/9-day mark, but some not until OTD. Please wait at least a few more days xx

I’ve had that before but was postive by 8dpt it also depends on what test you are using, what time do day etc. I’d say give it a few more days and try again 🤗 xx

Don't beat yourself up, I'm also impatient and tested today (6dp3dt), not expecting to see anything yet, just want to be in this bubble until AF or Beta bursts it! Hope you're doing ok. Be great to know how you get on xx

yeah it's too early probably - they say day 7 is when some woman have enough hcg to show on a test but can be up to day 9 for others. I actually tested at day 5 once and got a positive but it was the trigger shot still as was negative again by day 7 and unfortunately stayed negative. Good luck - hope it works out xx

Hi, my iyoni app recommends testing at min. 10dpt day. So, stay positive.
