iDASCORE - an artifical intelligency which should help to chose the best quality embryo for transfer. Did anyone heard/tried?

Hello,

I was invited to take part in a study for iDASCORE at my clinic. iDASCORE it's an artificial intelligence software which help to chose the best quality embryo for transfer. I can't decide what to do - shall I take part in this study or not. One way - it could help me to get pregnant quicker, other way - it will be slower process as it might suggest an embryo which embryologist would grade low. Also, it's my last cycle, whatever the outcome, so I wonder shall I try such an innovative thing?! But then, maybe it would help?

Did anyone heard of it? When I googled I can see that one private clinic in Czech Republic offers it already.

If it’s part of a study and it’s free I’d be inclined to seriously consider it as long as participating wouldn’t drastically slow down or mess with my chances.

Will all people in the study be using the new tech? Sometimes they do control group and you are randomly assigned so you might not even get to use it. How do you feel about that?

You mention lower quality embryo - so I’m guessing either the tech isn’t reliably picking best embryos or the embryologists grade and the computer say different things. Are you prepared to put that trust in a computer system? It’s true the computer could be picking up on things a perso would miss and has access to masses more data.

What are the resulting chances to your cycle protocol and or length, speed to transfer etc?

It’s just a study and it’s looking to see if they can predict the quality of the egg that would give a good embryo. At this stage they are just collecting data by taking high resolution images of the eggs then comparing that to the grade of the embryo you get. Nothing to do with embryo grading.

Life predicted the answer for me on its own. Doctors want to transfer 2 embryos this time and the study allows for a single transfer. So no more thinking for me
