Donor Clinics UK money back guarantee

Hi, I wonder if any of you lovely people could help me please?

Next Monday we’re due to have an online appointment with a clinic in Spain for a donor round, donor is expensive not to mention flights etc over there etc.

They also offer a money-back guarantee package (i.e. 3 rounds = 1st round own eggs + 2 donor egg rounds) - it’s a huge financial risk for us either way, but we’re also thinking about this - if it worked, we’d get a baby (although we’d have no money!), if it didn’t, we’d get 100% back.

I feel like there’s got to be places that do it in the UK and Ireland. Does anyone know anywhere in the UK or Ireland that does money-back IVF treatments? If so, please could you PM me.

Thanks very much xx

Hello, please check Access Fertility Programme. It's a refund programme, you can use it with donor treatment. I do use one of the Access Fertility programme at the moment - no issue with it, work very smoothly.

We went with Spain & donor package, and managed to get pregnant first time after years of trying. Our clinic had the ‘money back’ but you didn’t need to sign up to it from the start, but that’s maybe as we went straight to donor. My nhs clinic here didn’t have any Uk donors so this was our only option. Flights were relatively cheap and if you did a ‘city break’ it felt more relaxed. We had to go twice once for my partner’s donation then for FET. Fewer flights in the winter so had to stay longer but that wasn’t so bad as clinic can agree days with you. Good luck whatever you decide x

Congratulations, Would you mind if I jumped in here and asked if you could message me your clinic and how long they needed you to stay? So many options to choose! Many thanks!

The waiting list in the uk is terrible. We are in Spain and it took only 3 months to get the embryos. The flights weren’t expensive and we did air bnb and had a wee city break at the same time. The Spanish donors are anonymous where as the uk isn’t I don’t know if that helps your choice xxx

I know my clinic did a 3 round cycle for 10k package and refunded the cycles if it did work early but not if it doesn’t work. Are you sure you get all the money back if it doesn’t work and it’s not if it does work? That sounds like an odd deal and I’d check the small print first.
