Hello I was just wondering how everyone was after the era Alice Emma biopsy? Did you take a while to recover? Just trying to work it in around work 😂🤦‍♀️

Hi Boo,

For me there was no recovery time. I had the biopsy (which took about 10 seconds) then cycled home straight away.

It’s a bit nippy so take a couple of paracetamol beforehand but otherwise you won’t need to factor in recovery time.

Good luck xx

As Mills said, no recovery time for me either, was good to go afterwards! Best of luck x

Hi Boo. People seem to have really different experiences here, as I learned when researching mine! I had a biopsy that tested for biome, uterine nk levels and the ERA all in one. That means maybe a bit more tissue needs to be removed as it was split and sent to 3 separate labs. So for me I felt a very dull pain after an initial 'ooh!' for maybe 45 secs, something like that. But I found it completely manageable (took an ibuprofen before it!). I was fine straight away. Hopefully you'll find it OK too, but I guess maybe don't schedule something massively important for the hours after it just in case you do have some ongoing cramps or bleeding xxx

No problem at all, just minor discomfort during it itself, then after it was fine.

Same here - mildly painful/uncomfortable during the procedure itself, but all back to normal once finished and no recovery time needed x

Hi Boo I also had a chemical 10 days ago and want to do the EndomeTRIO this cycle. Do you know what day of your cycle you will do the biopsy?

. I’m on the pill until the 8th they think period should come 13th April so have provisionally booked me in for 2nd may. I have no idea about cycle days 😂😂😂

I haven't had the ERA but the Emma and Alice didn't require any recovery time really. It was just uncomfortable during the procedure and like not too bad period pains for a little while afterwards. I took paracetamol before and after. I had some bleeding for a day or so afterwards and then my period turned up super early thanks to the procedure so I wasn't really sure when the bleeding from the procedure stopped and the period started which made it hard to know where I was with things in my cycle. So you might want to bear that in mind. All the best with it.
