Hi all 👋🏼 I wonder has anyone experienced really tender and sore skin down the tops of their legs after the progesterone injections? My clinic have kind of fobbed me off with “if it gets worse tell us again” but it’s affecting my sleep and is really quite painful. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance xx

Progesterone injection side affects
Hey Wednesday124 have you recently started taking the progesterone injections? When I first started on lubion, injecting into my stomach, I did find my stomach was quite tender in the area where I’d injected afterwards. But as time has gone on it doesn’t do it any more, maybe my skin has got used to it. Not quite the same situation as you but I thought I’d mention just incase. Xx
Yes, I found the lubion injections really painful, especially at first. I thought I was having an allergic or bad reaction as they stung like mad, radiated down my thigh muscle and caused hard red swelling that lasted quite a while - like very big hives/pulled muscle. My clinic said it was normal... It got gradually better but always stung. I was surprised as having had two collection rounds I thought I'd been through the most painful injections with mixed meds and big needles, but nope, lubion won. Rubbing the area helped a bit, so did ice, but I think I just got used to them (was on them until past 12 weeks!) I'd still check with your clinic if it's really bad or gets worse/not better.
Lubion injections were the worst. I used to alternate tummy and upper thighs, once I've bruised my leg so bad I had troubles walking for a couple of days. Before injecting roll the vile in your palms to warm it up a bit and once you inject rub the place to move the liquid around I found it quite helpful XXX Hope it gets better in time xxx
