I was told to get pregnant and then it’ll go away by one doctor. The appointment was because I was sure my endo was stopping me from conceiving. Private treatment from that appointment on!

I was told exactly the same by my ivf consultant. Mind blown!

Same... I was told that since I was diagnosed at 18 - I was thinking surely there must be some medicine or treatment or something by now, but nope, best thing is to get pregnant. It really didn't seem like a long term solution, or a great idea when I was only 18... I was also told before that, that I was too young to have endometriosis, that my symptoms were all in my head, that I just had heavy periods, or it must be an STD. I had hoped that things had moved on and doctors were now much more aware of the condition, but there still seems to be such a lack of understanding or effective treatment.
