Head ache and exhausted

Hi all,

I’m on Buserelin and elleste solo and I’m really struggling with the headache and feeling exhausted.

I’d had a week off of work and spent it resting and had a massage but I feel exactly the same as before. It doesn’t seem to matter how well I sleep I’m the same level of tired. My headache is just so sharp and at times is almost like a migraine.

These aren’t things I normally have to deal with. I don’t generally get headaches and I’m pretty good keeping healthy sleep habits.

Anyone else struggled with this and got any suggestions to ease it.

Thanks

Buserelin is the worst, it made me feel like a bad hangover without the alcohol bit 😣 make sure you keep hydrated! Mine eased after a while x

Yes. It certainly has that feel to it. I wouldn’t mind so much if I’d been out on the town!

Hi lovely. Sorry you’re feeling so rough.

I’m also struggling with Buserelin. Its given me migraines (including one v scary migraine with visual disturbance) and insomnia 🥴, and I’ve been on it for about three weeks with 5 days left to go! The only thing I’ve found helps a tiny bit is drinking lots of fluids and resting whenever I can. I’m a freelancer and have had to shift my days so I can start at 11am and work later so I can at least sleep in. Also whenever I’m not working, I just rest and watch tv in bed. Least productive season of my life lol!

I thought I was being a bit dramatic but all I’ve got energy for is laying on the sofa watching trash. It’s made me feel so emotional from how rotten I feel (I’m not good when I’m tired). I’ve been on it 17 days and I’m back in for a scan on Monday. Hopefully I’m off it soon. You are a trooper to have had this for so long. I hope you’ve also got an excellent snack supply.

It's definitely not just you being dramatic! Buserelin's side effects are the worst. I hope you don't have to take it for much longer, and yes, I have lots of great snacks to make this process more bearable!

Hey, I am also suffering with migraines. I can't explain the situation in words. I will get angry in this situation. The sounds and noises during this time will irritate me, and I will get angry suddenly. My physician asked me to control my food, do a daily scalp massage, and use a dim light in my room. I didn't get a complete recovery, but I felt better after tying these.

I think to control my food my food at the moment would mean locking me away. Im normally take it or leave it with chocolate but I'm a nightmare around it at the moment. I’ll try and cut it. Hopefully that helps. Hope you are feeling better.
