I know there are a few in the 2ww or preparing for transfer at the mo...I’m on the highest meds I’ve ever had for transfer (max Progynova and progesterone, evorel patches and with added ‘trigger’ shot this time too!) and I’m totally exhausted! Not really after advice just wondered if anyone else is having a bit of a change about with their protocol this time? Or feeling the same way? Thinking of everyone around this time and keeping fingers crossed for all🤞🤞.

Not currently being medicated but I feel you! Progesterone really affects my mental health/exhausts me - throw in the stress of a 2ww and it’s a recipe for disaster In my next cycle they’re upping my dose so I’m thinking of getting a tattoo saying “it’s only hormones”
I recommend lots of trash of Netflix and Ben & Jerry’s.
Hi lovely, hope you’re doing ok! I’m prepping for my FET and we’re following the same protocol as the ERA cycle so down regging with buserelin first which always knackers me out. Currently waiting for my period to start 🙄 xxx
Keeping everything crossed you 🤞🤞. Being tired with drugs is so strange. I used to feel like I could snap out of it but realised that this is just not possible so just rolling with it! Hope you can start soon xx
I know what you mean! I have the hunger too. Just never seem to be full! Are you doing the same protocol too as your ERA? Everything crossed for you too xx
Thank you. I’m on 6 days of progesterone rather than 5 and I’m on 4 pessaries a day rather than 3, so taking them through the night now too! Basically a lot more progesterone and I’m also now taking Ovitrelle every other day for the next 3 days. Quite the concoction of drugs! The hunger is ridiculous- trying to go heavy on the protein. You ok? Xx
Hi, gosh that sounds like a lot of meds! I’m exhausted and not on that much! I blame everything on drugs though, exhaustion, being really snappy and grumpy, and eating a lot 😂 don’t know if that’s the case but I’m going with it!lol xx
Wishing you all the best hifer, I have been through this four times already and this time we have changed to a natural FET. I am on my 4th day of 2x cyclogest and feeling floored. I can't imagine how debilitating all the drugs you're taking are! I know for sure it's the drugs as I have taken a long break away from IVF and the hormones. For some reason I'm having a stronger reaction to the least amount of drugs I have ever taken (i'm a weirdo I think), good luck on your transfer lovely xx
Hi hiferIn the midst of my 3rd round. Transfer on thursday all being well. The drugs have hit me harder as im a year older than when i first started also stating inhixa, oestrogen as extra this time on top of the progestetone which gives me the worst constipation. So dont think its going to get any easier. So totally feeling how you are right now.
Oh hun. Really feel for you. I’m with you on the age thing. I’m the same. The older I get the more of an effect they have on me! On one of my egg collections I also had really bad constipation. I found Fybogel really helped for that.
Keeping everything crossed for your transfer and your cycle
I was on the same prep protocol as you are now (still am!) and I was winded doing workouts that were usually a breeze and I slept all the time. I’m 8 days post transfer and no longer on the patches but on everything else. Think my body is starting to adjust, but it takes time. What you’re feeling is totally normal! I had a meltdown of tears one day when I realised I had run out of milk. It’s a wild ride but you WILL get through it! Just be kind to yourself 💓.
Thanks a lot for the message. Ha I wouldn’t worry I cry all the time about little things! The hormones are just going crazy! I haven’t really had a prolonged period without drugs for a while and I miss being super fit and toned (less eating!) We definitely can get through this. I feel a bit more energetic today so maybe I can actually do something productive!😘xx
