I think my periods coming…

*EDIT 12th Feb

I’ve just gone to the loo and it looks like AF is here….totally devastated 😢

I’m devastated, I’m experiencing my usual period cramps, and usual period symptoms, I’m 9days post blastocyst transplant, I guess this isn’t good news? Should I do the test early (due to take it on Tues), or shall I wait.

I daren’t tell my partner, he will be as devastated as I’m feeling right now 😞 I don’t know what to do?

Hi Auds, I’m 8dp3dt and feel the same. Period cramps and the same symptoms I get each month night sweats, sore boobs etc.I’ve heard it’s quite common to get cramps in early pregnancy as the uterus is changing so fingers crossed for our BFPs x

Really RedFox? I’ve had sore boobs all the way through this but that stopped 2 days ago, I’ve definitely started with the usual cramping though, wanting to eat everything, and one minute crying, the next minute feeling so angry! My usual period symptoms 😞

I’m keeping everything crossed for us then lovely, you’re due to take your test on Wed? Sending huge hugs and positive vibes xx

From my obsessive googling I’ve read that …Pregnancy: Early in pregnancy, you may experience mild or light cramping. These cramps will probably feel like the light cramps you get during your period, but they'll be in your lower stomach or lower back.

I’m the same as you, symptoms here and there but gone as quickly as they arrive! All the usual period symptoms are coming and going too! It’s a mind field isn’t it?!

Yes on Weds! I tested yesterday and it was negative so I’m going to leave it now until OTD! Wishing you all the best xxxx

Hello, I started getting cramps on day 8 and was sure it was all over but it wasn’t and got my BFP on day 13! Stay strong, you are still in it!

Thanks Foxboro, I’ll try not to stress and worry as I know that won’t help

Period like symptoms are absolutely normal, especially sore boobs. Try not to stress yourself too much make a nice hot chocolate and play a good film in Netflix ❤️ Before all my positive tests my boobs were sooo sore and this might actually be a very good sign. Fingers crossed and I hope you share some good news with us in Tuesday XXX 🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🍀🍀🍀🍀🌻🌻🤗🤗🤗🤗

I usually feel down when I feel my period symptoms coming. I have to say I felt them all this time too but it was a BFP, so I will definitely not take that as a negative moving forward!

Cramping is a common sign of pregnancy. As long as they’re mild and not accompanied with blood there’s probably no reason to worry. Unfortunately signs of period coming are pretty much signs of being pregnant, minus the blood.

Hi!

Honestly I felt like this on my last embryo transfer I felt all of the familiar period feelings! If you read my time line you can see how distraught I was. I got a bfp! My baby is almost 2!

It’s soul destroying as the symptoms are so so similar!

Xx

Oh love, I know this feeling from 2 previous rounds which failed. But I’ll just say that on my third round I thought I was also out as I’d had lots of cramps, told my husband as I thought that was it, but got my BFP and am currently 15 weeks pregnant. I had cramps probably until around week 10, the clinic and midwife said it’s totally normal as there’s such a lot going on in there. I know the TWW is a total nightmare but honestly, you’re not out of the game until you do that test. Try to hang on in there until test day xx

Your symptoms are exactly what I experienced when I was pregnant, gosh I was so convinced it had failed that I drank wine and only tested on OTD because I had to, wouldn't have bothered otherwise. She's 18 months old now. Good luck! xx
