We’re on our way for egg transfer! I was so nervous this morning because I didn’t know if we would receive a call with bad news, but touch wood we did not receive one so are on our way!
Was just looking for any advice on what to do after the transfer? I know a lot of people get McDonald’s chips, but is there anything else I can do? Like laying with my legs in the air for hours lol?

I had the McDonald’s fries too lol but all I can suggest is plenty of rest, at least 2 litres of water and do not stress ( easier said than done) just take it easy ! I had my transfer 10 days ago and it’s my official test day tomorrow so fingers crossed! Best of luck to you xxxx
I went for a wee as soon as I got off the table lol. I rested, but didn't really lay in bed.. I had to drink protein drinks, I drank ufit 3 times a day, I'm sure that has contributed to my massive weight gain lol. The clinic didn't tell me why I had to drink it though... 🤨 Good luck, keep calm xx
Lots of luck today! Eating pineapple for 5 days after and Brazil nuts is another one like the McDonalds fries. I did it so I could never look back and think ‘what it.’ As others have said nothing to strenuous, hope the tww goes quick x
Good luck!!! Just take it easy, especially the first 5 days, no heavy lifting, lots of water and a healthy balanced diet and of course no caffeine. Usual sensible advice I’ve received over the years and I’ve had 4 bfp’s out of 7. If the embryo is healthy/normal and the lining is receptive you have the best chance!! Find a good box set, book to get into because the waiting is the hardest part! Xxx
Thank you all ladies!! We’ve had a top grade embryo put back so fingers crossed. The second embryo is one grade behind, but still good, so hopefully when they check it tomorrow it will be viable to freeze. Going to get some McD chips now and chill out for the afternoon. Xx
It will be all done by now so hope all went well for you eat well drink loads of water get plenty of sleep/rest and plan a few nice things to get through the 2ww and good luck when you get to test! x
Stay calm...Just go for it! It's completely normal...Don't panic. Just listen to music; that's what keeps me calm and tension-free. So, yeah! I hope you get it done successfully. Wish you all the best! xx
