I had my son, 7years ago. didn’t know I was pregnant u til I delivered him myself at my parents. I really really want another! I want to be fat, have a scan, I have been trying 5years. Just had my hsg! Anyone have any positive news as this is breaking me! I am in the mindset I can not have another yet all tests so far are ok. I can’t change my thoughts :(

Hi,

Firstly, I read your post and cant get over how you had your baby yourself at your parent's place. I mean I can't even imagine what you went through! Amazing strength!

I can't tell from your post if you have tried any treatments like IVF/ICSI or are hoping to get pregnant naturally. Quite a number have been succcessful on the forum with IVF/ICSI so don't give up hope.

I can’t get ivf due to having a child. Yes it’s crazy I was on good morning Britain with my story. I have just been fighting doctors where I live for help. Had tests done aswell as my partner all seems ok my hsg had slight blockage but fixed with the pressure inserted. I am struggling to get out the mind set of being able to have kids I am so scared to see the negative tests every month again. I try to be strong, my son askes for a brother or sister too xx

Hopefully after the HSG procedure, both fallopian tubes are unblocked and this will increase your chances to getting pregnant naturally. Fighting the battle with NHS may or may not get you anywhere. I was in the same position (though different scenario), I was entitled according to requirement but the budget was maxed out in my borough. I wasted so much of time due to first the NHS making a mistake, then test took 4-6 weeks, then wait 6 weeks for a scan, then another few weeks for another check, plus not to mention all delays due to Covid.

Also went through the constant worry of will I ever be pregnant, will I ever get a chance to become a mom, when everyone becomes pregnant so easily. Now I try to put this aside and focus on what I am doing about it. It sounds like your worries are filling you with so much fear. If you can manage going private then I suggest a multi-cycle package which is the most cost effective if you meet the requirements. Once you start on the procedures, I feel the focus moves away from worrying and instead focuses on the new journey instead.

Please don't feel alone, this chat has some amazing ladies who are always willing to lend an ear/advice.
