I've gotten so much help on here, so im asking again!
I was diagnosed as perimenopausal last year, with a AMH of 1 and FSH of 19. at all my scans i had between 8-12 follicles, but don't always ovulate. I've had 1 round of ivf as a poor responder. I had a over active thyroid, so after reading 'it starts with an egg' i started all the tablets recommended and the diet plan. I asked for bloods to be done for miscarriage, fsh and thyroid. (I've had 3 chemical miscarriages). my thyroid is now 0.45 and my FSH is now 6. The nurse could only say it was normal. But what does it mean for it to change that much? am I now not menopausal? and is 0.45 for thyroid ok? it seems low which would still indicate hyperthyroidism. HELP thank you!!!

Hi Katy, Your FSH can really swing depending on so many factors mines been 18 once and back down to 7 it could have been you were ill on the higher reading. AMH is much better as knowing your egg/ follicle count.
Have you tried taking Clomid etc to help you ovulate? Are you having regular periods?
thanks so much. I was never told it could change, they only did another test cos I really pushed. Just hope this means I'm not menopausal like they said. my AMH is really low, I've asked for another test, cos I'm worried my thyroid causes alot of this. Yes always have a period. 22-28 days usually. I tried a round of clomid (i begged as they said it wouldn't work with mu amh) I got pregnant on it, but had chemical miscarriage. thanks for your response x
