IVF at Lister or CRGH?

Hello, I am new to IVF and hoping to get some advice/ recommendation.

I’m 35 with a low AMH due to endometriosis. My DH’s sperm seems to be normal so looks like just female factor. We are looking to start IVF privately, did a lot of research and joined a few open evenings. We are considering going with Lister or CRGH. Have you got any good/ bad experience with either clinic? Which consultant would you recommend if you have similar issues like me? (Low AMH and endometriosis)

Please DM me if you had a negative experience as is best not to be on a public forum!

Many thanks in advance

Hi they are both good. Actually, I went to have initial appointment with both clinics and I chosen the one which I feel a bit more connection with the doctor and who has similar thoughts as us for the treatment plans. I would suggest you to do the same. You can read their consultation profiles first and book with the doctor is more on your problem.

We did 2x rounds of PGD IVF at CRGH through the NHS. Unfortunately, we weren't successful but I don't think that had anything to do with the clinic (we then went overseas to use donor eggs). If I could use one word to sum them up, I would say efficient.

Hi, we’ve been with CRGH for nearly 3 years (6 unsuccessful cycles) and are now considering moving to Lister after having an initial consultation recently.

We have been under the care of Dr Khanjani who I’ve found to be really straightforward and committed to our case but we’re not exactly a success story! I have found over time that the admin side of the clinic has got worse, especially since covid. I often find it hard to speak to someone on the phone and when I leave messages often they go unreturned. Every cycle we’ve done there been some kind of admin issue but i’m sure that’s probably quite common - you realise quite quickly how much chasing and advocating for yourself you have to do when you go private and that does become quite draining when you’ve been at a clinic for as long as we have. We’ve had a reasonable experience with the clinical teams, no real complaints there but I do feel a bit like they’ve ramped up the number of patients over the last year and it feels a bit like a treadmill in my experience.

I have no idea whether Lister will be any better or pretty much the same!!
