FET mid cycle scan before starting medication

Hello!

Just a quick question - I have let my clinic know the start of my period for booking in a mid-cycle scan before starting medication with a view for transfer in March. They've booked me in for a scan next Monday! I thought mid-cycle would mean a couple of weeks from now! Wanted to check if this is around the right time for a scan?

no idea, all I can think is checking everything is good, starting your meds the day one of your Feb and transfer in march? xxx

It depends what the scan is to check for ….I’ve found ‘mid cycle’ at my clinic to just mean in between periods at some point xx

Thanks Twiglet. I think it's just to check how it all looks in there as it's been a while since my last round. Nothing specific to do with lining thickness or anything like that. From talking to them, they're pretty flexible on the date, so looks like it means between periods.

I’ve been for a scan mid cycle on a natural cycle, had it done on CD10, not sure if that helps x
