Hello, I am having mild/moderate cramping intermittent I would say about 30 or 40 seconds every hour or 2 today. There is no blood but can't help but worry at only 5 weeks. Had anyone else ever experienced this?

Cramps 5 weeks pregnant
I’m 5 weeks too and have a lot of cramping over the last 2.5 weeks. It’s wakes me up during the night and floors me during the day. Mine are 10-15 minute stints though and my belly tends to bloat and then gradually eases off. Quite different to yours, but I’d also like to hear from other ladies who have had similar symptoms, as you always tend to think the worst! Xx
Hi there - a little reassurance hopefully, I’ve had cramps pretty much straight from embryo transfer and I’ll be 10 weeks tomorrow. All was as it should be on the viability scan, and both the clinic and the midwife said it’s normal to have cramping as there’s a lot going on in there, even at this early stage. If you see blood, or if the pain becomes severe, then contact your clinic or the EPU but for now, it’s quite probably just completely normal x
Hi there, I am 4.5 weeks and have also had mild cramps following the embryo transfer. I do also experience mild lower back pain. I've noticed that every other day these symptoms worsen for the day and then the following day the discomfort reduces. I do experience bloating which also seems to be fluctuating along with the cramping and the lower back pain. As it's only mild, I think it's normal.
Hi lovely, it could be implantation still - the embryo burrows deeper in to your uterus lining over the first few weeks so unless you have a heavy red bleed I would try not to worry xx
