I have had 3 fet and 1 fresh transfares but none have taken. I have no reason why, has anyone had this and then had additioal testing ect? The doctor keeps saying it's just luck but it's killing me.
Has anyone ever got additional tests ... - Fertility Network UK
Has anyone ever got additional tests or diagnosis after 4 failed transfare?

Hi Mhairiuk, following a discussion a had with my doctor, he said that if my transfer fails again they would consider conducting a hysteroscopy which means inserting a camera into the uterus to see what the uterus looks like.. they would search for scar tissue etc anything that may explain the past fails . Have you ever had this test done or has it ever been mentioned to you?
After 2 failed FET and natural pregnancy loss my RE had me do panel for reccurent implantation failure/ pregnancy loss. That imcluded karotype testing NK cells, endo, etc. I would demand for test to be done before going any further.
You have to undergo min 3 fresh cycles then you might start thinking somwthing else might be wrong. I read somewhere that out of 12 embryos chances one is good enough
FET means they are all my from the same cycle and it might be just a bad cycles (happened to me all 4 excellent embryos didn't take)
so it means you only tried once, kinda frustrating but it gives hope at the same time.
For my first ivf baby I did 2 fresh cycles with total of 8 embryos and got my baby
Second ivf baby took me another 2 fresh cycles (total 4 transfers) of 7 embryos transfered
Mind you that all my transfers are 3rd day since I have low embryo numbers per cycle (4 or 3) they don't risk allowing them to reach blast and I do a double transfer each time
I remember asking if doctor after 3 failed transfers if I can di any tests and she told me it's just luck and I did end up pregnant the fourth transfer
I hope this gives you hope since I know exactly how you feel
I had PGS testing (which meant my second fresh round had to be a freeze all), as well as testing a remaining frozen embryo from the first round. Probably worth it as it revealed most of the embryos were aneuploid and we would have wasted time money and heartache transferring them. There is a risk of not getting a result for an embryo and this happened with two of ours. We had one euploid which I am currently 11 weeks pregnant with 🤞. I also had ERA/EMMA/ALICE tests which I think were worth it as they identified the best time to transfer and that I had an infection in my womb which has now been treated. Personally I couldn’t keep going through transfers so these tests were worth it to me, but they are very expensive and of course don’t offer any guarantees- I’d discuss with your clinic or get a second opinion from another clinic. Best of luck to you xx
