Has anyone ever tested positive after a negative at 8dp5dt?

I know in theory people know a friend of a friend of a friend who got a late BFP but have any of you personally got a BFP so late in the tww? I tested this morning at 8dp5dt and it was a stark white negative. My head says this hasn’t worked my heart is hoping for a miracle. Please let me know if you had a complete turnaround x

On my last transfer I tested at home on day 7 and 8 and got negatives, then a faint positive on day 9. My blood test was on day 10, which confirmed a positive. Currently 9 weeks along.

I truly believed I was out too and then it all began to change on day 9 for me!

I had a negative on 8dp5dt and a faint positive on 10dp5dt but it ended up being a chemical pregnancy. On 15dp5dt my beta was only 39. I hope you get lucky and get a strong positive. 🤞

Hi Daffodils. Yes, it can happen. Just keep going with any prescribed medication and Folic Acid and test on the day recommended by your clinic. Good luck! Diane

hi, no, it stayed as a bfn and that was our last frozen embryo so not sure what next steps will be. How are you getting on? X

Hey I’m sorry to hear. I am waiting to have my blood test next week but can’t help feeling pessimistic… I’be done a frozen also. How many transfers have you had in total? Out of curiosity what would stop you from trying again? Are you considering seeing a specialist? Trying to figure out what your next steps would be…. Xx
