Hello everyone so I have sensitively entered a world of the unknown in 9 pregnancies 8 have miscarried and I'm now tentatively at 7 weeks with a a beautiful looking bean inside. However I am bleeding tho and at the scan they found a sub chronic haematoma first measuring 1.2mm and it is now 1.5mm the doctors were useless and just said if the bleeding got worse to let them know but there is nothing I can do but just sit and wait it out they said the baby has a 30% chance of survival so I'm feeling really down in the dumps the fresh red blood stomped over a week ago and when we went to last scan on Monday my beautiful baby had a delightful heartbeat something I've never heard
The bleeding is now a brown like coffee ground style more so when I wasp with bits in has anyone experienced this I feel like I'm walking on eggshells

Oh love, it's so difficult when you don't really know what to do.I think I said before that my haematoma was 10cm x 6cm so massive - and it did eventually just bleed its way out. It was mostly as you describe, like dark coffee grounds and little strips. I know it's really hard but try not to worry too much. Haematomas are really common in IVF pregnancies and it should just work its way out. It sounds as though your clinic don't know too much about them - which clearly isn't helping. xx
It's so bloody soul destroying wiping every time you use the toilet and there's blood. I've been signed off from work for four weeks so I feel a little more relieved I'm a community nurse so heavy duties I'm just a walking wreck right now
I would agree with @millbanks to ask if you should stop your blood thinners until the bleeding settles and you can restart at a later date. Good luck, crossing everything for you....you've had such a traumatic time getting here so far! Hugs.xxx
Oh lovely, I’m so sorry you’re having to deal with this. Your clinic sound overly negative to me but I’m not an expert. I also had a SCH, it wasn’t visible at my 7 weeks scan but I had to have a follow up at 8 weeks as was measuring slightly behind. At 8 weeks it was picked up and was much bigger than yours at 18.5mm and I’d been having some brown spotting. At 9 weeks I had a huge gush of blood, bright red and through my clothes and a scan the next day showed it had bled out and reduced to 5mm. I had a couple more days of red spotting which turned brown and eventually stopped. I’m 21 weeks now and baby is happy and healthy.
Try not to focus on the negative. I would try and contact your EPU and hopefully they can put your mind at ease xxx
Hello, I’m very sorry you are going through this. I also had one. I bled between week five and week ten. Sometimes very heavily. It corrected itself and I’m now 32 weeks. Hang in there, I understand how horrendous it is and the fear every time. But babies can survive it. Wishing you luck and strength xx
I wish you all the best. Since its coffee brown blood now I think the bleeding has stopped and everything has settled in. I'm sorry you experienced this and I pray this particular pregnancy has come to stay and you will carry your baby. Congratulations. X
I’m so sorry, such worry and stress .. I hate people saying stay positive to, of course you want to. However it’s hard but we all on here sending love and light. Hope you are on progesterone and if not demand it- the study now says for miscarriage this is the offer and to stem the bleeding. I’d try anything I could and ignore his negativity xx
