Cervix is bleeding a little! Please help

Hi ladies,

I am 14 w+2d and today had a little bleeding. Went to the doctor baby seems fine with a heart beat. But after twin boys Stillborn and 4 consecutive miscarriages I started to freaking out today, because this is my miracle and last tried for my own baby. Can anyone tell me if had this type of bleeding before? My doctor said that is coming from the cervix and when I ask if could get worse he said that he could not predict that. So I am really worried about this whole situation. Any advices or success histories after a cervix bleeding? I do not have cramps or pain, nothing unusual just the little bleeding in the morning.

Hey lovely. I'm sorry to hear everything you've gone through. This must be a truly frightening situation for you. However every pregnancy is different so it doesn't mean the worst. I'm not qualified at all to give any advice on this situation but I have heard that bleeding is really common during pregnancy and you've got no other signs so hold onto that and try and stay calm. I know it must be hard. Seek advice from your GP/out of hours/A&E for further reassurance or if anything gets worse. I'm sure everything will be just fine. Big hugs xxx

Thank you very much! I google a lot today and everything says that sometimes is normal. I just hope it is. Thank you for your replay ! So far no more bleeding and no pain. I hope it continues this way no bleeding anymore. Keeping my fingers cross.

Hello I had this time and time again they said it was from my cervix any time it happens just get checked keep an eye on the bleeding my little girl is 10 weeks old but like your self I was panicking any time it happened the first time for me was around 13/14 weeks so doesn’t always mean it’s bad x

When I was like 15-16 weeks, I bled for 15 days in a row (dark red and brownish colour). At the first they detected an hematoma in the placenta but this disappeared quickly. The bleeding continued after that. I did several ultrasounds and the baby was always fine. Eventually it stopped. No doctor was able to detect the cause. I am now almost 19 weeks.

Thank you for your responding. I am counting the days, minutes and seconds to hold this baby in my arms. I tried to take one day at a time, bur sometimes is hard. Hi Balsita,

if they checked that the bleeding is coming from the cervix, don't worry: it's called ectropion, I had it throughout my pregnancy (my daughter is 2yo now). The first time it happened to me, I was about 10 weeks, and I just had a bit of a struggle with a (sorry, TMI) poo. Then, it happened again from time to time, usually after having sex (this put us off from sex quite a bit).

Thank you for your response. Also happened to me yesterday because I am having hard time to go to the bathroom too ( sorry #2 ). I was really upset, but no bleeding anymore after that and hope still like this no more bleeding . Make me happy to hear your response. Thank you very much!
