Pregnancy lines

Hi, this is my 8th day after 5 day transfer, I tested on day 6 and got a positive and tested today and line doesn’t seem to be anymore stronger, my pee was really yellow when I just done it there now so am wondering is that why the lines aren’t showing as dark? Does anyone have any advice on this please...I had to leave a urine sample in with doctor this morning and they found blood and protein so am on antibiotics now, is this something to worry about? X

The second one looks a little stronger to me! It’s so so early, I would try and breathe and give it time. The fact that the positive was so early and strong is a good sign! Good luck!!

Congratulations. There are safe antibiotics you can take during pregnancy- I took a few with my now 2 and a half year old daughter even hospital ones as I had a very bad UTI at the end of my pregnancy with her. I wouldn't keep testing as I think that adds more stress having said that I tested a lot with my daughter my tests were darker in the afternoon and evenings! I think your latest test looks darker also bear in mind the older test will have dried out and look darker than it was. Could your GP or clinic offer a blood test to put your mind at ease? It is such a long wait till the viability scan ( I had one with this pregnancy due to recurring miscarriages) Xx

Hi Vicky. It's quite common to get a urine infection at this time. You really need to wait and test when you were advised to with the first urine in the morning. Antibiotics won't affect the reading. Try and be patient! Diane

The second one does look darker to me too…congratulations and I definitely agree with Jess1981 try to get hcg test to put your mind at ease

Hi! Congratulations. I can actually see a line progression here!! day 8 is still quite early so the hcg will be tiny! I would expect that to progress nicely. Unfortunately the only way to know is test again later! (agree you could go for hcg bloods too, but depends where you are if this is easy, and of course you'd also need to wait 72 hours between 2, to check progression! But it looks really good so try to enjoy that you are bloody pregnant!!! Congrats xx
