Hi there, I would always check out the HFEA website initially. The other thing I would do is join the online webinars or virtual consultations of some clinics just to get an overview of their treatment approach. This is free obviously.

After an initial failed cycle, I decided to pay 3 different clinics for initial consultations. This was to allow me assess what their suggested protocol would be to give me the best chance of success. Then went for the one I felt most comfortable with. It obviously was an extra cost but I am really pleased I did as I was 43 and knew my time was running out.

In terms of questions to ask there is an IVF doctor called the egg whisperer on YouTube that gives great advice on questions you can ask during your first appointment. In fact most her videos are great to watch as she is very patient centred.

All the best with your journey 🙏🏾
