Hello ladies, I just found an IVF company called “ access fertility “that has very good plans for IVF but is that good that sounds unreal … I would like to know if any of you did iVF through them and the experience . Thank you 🙏🏻

Hi Maria,

I’ve used Access Fertility but unfortunately I didn’t qualify for the unlimited cycles or any of the refund options due to my low AMH (also the reason for not being eligible for NHS funding).

The only package we could get was the two multi-cycle (which still saved us a couple of grand compared with going direct to the clinic).

You still have to pay for the meds on top and some of the blood test aren’t covered either.

Best of luck - and hopefully you’ll qualify for more than I did.

Lis xx

I did - they were absolutely fine to deal with. We did 3 attempts and you got 50% back if it didn't work. We then did another 2 attempts - no refund this time but you got a discount for paying for 2 together upfront. Took a couple of months to get the 50% back but other than that all good! My only concern is if the actual clinic out as much effort into our IVF as they might have with others - as perhaps they get paid less via access for it.

i don’t think it will affect with the patient’s treatment because at the end it’s the same lab and your doctor which is the most important . Or let’s think like that 😅 I just enrolled with access after all the positive comments I got here !

Hi,

We used access fertility and did the two multi cycle round. We had success on our second fresh round, so I was glad we went for the two cycles. I have severe endometriosis so didn’t think it would work first time. All meds were on top of that which were about £1,300 for a fresh round and a couple of hundred for a frozen transfer. Because we did that package it meant that we had to transfer any frozen ones first before starting the next round. It definitely worked out cheaper than if we had paid for what the clinic normally charge for each thing! I found that it was all very straight forward to organise and that once you pay them then they sort all the finance stuff for you with the clinic. I feel like that made things less stressful knowing that we didn’t have to deal with that.

Feel free to ask any questions :) wishing you the best of luck! X

I used them when we first did IVF - we went for the two cycle multi-cycle package, and it did save us money cause we didn’t have to pay for the frozen transfers and we did need that second cycle. We then had success on the second fresh cycle. As others said, remember it doesn’t cover the meds. They were great, no issue with them at all. X

Thank you 🙏🏻 yes the frozen transfers with no payments is what made me decide to enroll with access fertility because you save q lot money at the end , and congratulations for your success 🤍🙏🏻

hi, i didn’t do access but have a close friend who did. She had a bad experience in that her clinic weren’t the best and she had issues on some of her rounds… But because she’d done access she had to stay there and couldn’t transfer elsewhere x

We looked at access fertility, we weren't eligible for any of the refund options and the multi cycle packages were about the same price as our clinic so we just did pay as you go through the clinic in the end x

I didn’t qualify and they were a bit blunt about it. My clinic do multicycle packages for the same price anyway so I went direct with the clinic instead x

Hi 👋🏼

We used Access Fertility (the multi-cycle package). All went smoothly and was exactly as advertised.

As others have said, cost of meds aren’t included. I found out half way through though, all ASDA pharmacies will sell fertility meds at cost price!! You need a prescription from your clinic but it’s worth it as it’s a lot cheaper!!

Best of luck with whatever you decide to do.

😁

oh that’s interesting! I didn’t know about Asda! My last meds were £2k , I’m dreading that again, I’ll definitely investigate Asda! Thank you

Hi I’ve used them and am about to again, I didn’t qualify for the refund. I did the 2 cycle and got meds included. Definitely saves money. Just had to pay for the frozen cycle drugs on top

Hi, we used them, and we could withdraw at any time, and have a refund on unused rounds (if we withdrew, not because we got a positive result). We did a 3 cycle package but decided to withdraw after 1 (we wernt sure if we wanted to continue) and we got a refund minus cost of the 1 round. No quibble, happened quickly and no question. Very straightforward.

yes I used them twice, they were great. Straightforward paperwork, transparent plans and pricing, always answer the phone and no tricks. I would recommend them and I am planning on using them again if I go for DE, I think their plans are very reasonable.
