EmBIO Fertility clinic - any experience?

Hi all,

I hope everyone is managing to stay safe & sane in this unusual time

I hope I’m allowed to ask this... We’re now looking at going abroad for our next round as U.K IVF prices, as you all know, are a lot 😔

I’ve done some (not loads) research and have come across EmBIO in Athens. The reviews on trust pilot are amazing and they’ve already been in touch asking questions our current clinic never asked (which we think they should have) and I have a really good feeling about them.

However, I do have a habit of being pretty gung ho about things (5minute google, it feels good - let’s go for it!) so I’m trying to be a bit more measured about this!

Has anyone on here had treatment with EmBIO and how did you find them? If not, do you have any experiences of other fertility clinics in Greece or elsewhere?

Hi JoP. No advice on EmBIO, but just wanted to say I hear you on the gung-ho attitude. Just like to get things moving and you can never be 100% sure if something is the right choice or not in advance! Hopefully you can get some good advice on here. xxx

Thank you lovely! Glad to hear it’s not just me! You’re exactly right - we just want to get on with things. There’s so much waiting in ivf, if we can minimise it in any way we will!

Thanks for the love ivf sister! I actually went to a shop today for the first day since transfer (last Monday). What a crazy experience. Felt more risky than some things I've done in my youth! Think I will continue with self-isolation. Scary world. xxxx

Alot of couples i found in athens for ivf had alot of negative experience in embyo. Alot of reviews in google and gcr about them.

I believe alot Ivf clinics in greece are top notch . I did it with serum but i also heard alot of goot reviews for other clinics in thessaloniki. Search at google business and global clinic rating.

Hi Claudia. Thank you for your reply. After doing more research we had already decided to go with Serum as well! Sofia is so wonderful and has been so lovely & helpful already! Thank you for the advice, it’s good to know the one we settled on is where you had a good experience! Xx
