Help! Lines lighter this morning

Hey all so to my shock I took a pregnancy test yesterday afternoon and it was a BFP

I couldn't believe it so I retested at 8pm and got 2 strong lines and 'pregnant' on a clearblue digital

I've just tested again this morning and it's a lot lighter

It's FMU so I thought it should be stronger test than yesterday

I'm FREAKING out

I've googled it and it's coming up as chemical pregnancy

Please someone give me some hope, have you experienced this and gone on to have a healthy pregnancy/baby. I know I shouldn't of obsessively tested as I'm just torturing myself

I've never been pregnant and it's taken us 2 round of IVF to get here, so scared something is wrong

Hi Lilly, I've seen a few women on here have much stronger tests in the evenings - perhaps you're one of those?Line progression is an absolute head**** and the only way to know for sure if to have a beta test with your clinic - will they do one for you?

Yes I have blood test booked for Monday but just feels like a eternity away!

Argh yes - time just drags so much when you are waiting for these things.For my last FET I couldn't bring myself to test at home for this very reason - the stress is just outrageous.

I know it's not ideal, but if this is a chemical - the tiny silver lining is that you know now that you can get those 2 lines, there must just be something else that needs tweaking. If you can take some comfort in that until Monday when you have your confirmed result, I find it helps to have something to stop your mind spinning.

Yes I'm so grateful that I got the lines and if it's not meant to be like you said it's a positive that I got this far!

I'm going to do one more test this evening then I'll wait until Monday xx

Hi lovely, the good thing is that the second line is still there so it’s definitely still a BFP. Some women just get darker tests in the afternoon than morning. Not all FMU Will show as darker, it all depends on how concentrated your pee is. I know it’s so hard but try to hold off from testing for another day or two to give your HCG levels chance to rise and hopefully you should get a lovely dark line. Good luck 💖

Yes the waiting is killing me! I think I'll do one more test this evening then I try my best to wait until Monday

As Millbanks has said, not everyone gets a stronger line with FMU. I’m one of those! Mine would look exactly like yours do. Really strong in the afternoon and evening and then faint as anything first thing in the morning. It goes against everything they tell you but I’ve spoken to quite a few other ladies who had the same so I don’t think it’s that uncommon.

Try a test this evening and see if you get a strong line again. I’m confident you will as they look identical to mine 😘 xxx

Hi lillyI really feel for you, it is such a stressful time. Try to stay in the now... you have a positive pregnancy test, congratulations!

I've been there with a faint line after two FETs- the first time it did turn into a chemical but I have to say I never had a line that was as strong as your line.

On my most recent pregnancy, I found my line was fainter in the morning but darker in the afternoon and I was super stressed! It turned out to be nothing to worry about.

I'm keeping everything crossed for you!
