I don’t know if anyone knows for sure but I have been taking 30mg zinc a day my dermatologist prescribed me a while ago for just hormonal breakouts she said it was safe for pregnancy. I am on my second ivf round and about to do an embryo transfer. I was thinking 30mg is maybe a lot. Does anyone know ? I also take glutathione which is supposed to be good but I don’t know I’m starting to question everything in regards to implantation. And I haven’t had a chance to tell or ask my doctor because I never questioned those supplements. If anyone has any advice or answers that would be reassuring !

Hi, I was also prescribed zinc by a dermatologist through my last cycle. From memory it was the same strength as yours and she was confident it was ok alongside ivf. To be honest I didn’t think to discuss it with my fertility clinic and that cycle worked. Lots of luck xx

Hi Yellowbellow.• 10 micrograms of vitamin D each day throughout your pregnancy - you should also carry on taking this after your baby is born if you breastfeed
• 400 micrograms of folic acid each day – you should take this from before you are pregnant until you are 12 weeks pregnant. Those are the corret recommendations. If you take too much it can cause problems. Diane
Thanks 😊
Am about to do transfer if all goes well on Sunday am also taking 30mg zinc my ivf doctor says it is okay to keep taking it
