Cysts

Hi all,

I’m currently doing a FET and at my tracking scan they found 2 cysts. One in ovary and the other floating.

I’ve had my tubes cut and just had a flood test to check levels and it’s normal.

I’m going ahead with everything, could the cysts cause any problem in pregnancy and could the medication have caused them?

So sorry 😣 I have a lot of experience with cysts unfortunately. Have they advised you to have them seen too? Or what type of cyst they are? How big? If they are small functional cysts it’s more than likely you will be able to continue. If they are other types then they need draining or removing prior to any potential pregnancy. I’ve always had them seen too but if they advised it was ok to continue I would do so. You really don’t want a cyst bursting the pain is like no other! Most cysts go on there own during your cycle but some can be tricky. I’ve had functional and dermoid cysts. Last one was a functional cyst that needed draining before fet cycle. Tha is for your reply and sorry for all your cysts!We’ll she doesn’t really k ow what kind they are but she said you could have them drained or another scan or wait and see if they go after a bleed but o said I’d like to continue and deal with them after if they’re still there.

She did say about them busting and the fluid leaking but my tubes are cut so they couldn’t leak into my uterus

Yeah I would wait and scan again after your AF. I have no tubes but I’ve always been advised to have them drained because if they burst they can cause so much mess in your reproductive system. That can then affect your fertility even more for future treatment if you need it. Good luck am sure they will sort themselves out your next cycle 🤞🏼💕 good luck 🍀
