Pregnancy test - is it positive?

Good morning

I have recently been through ICSI and am currently 18dp5dt. I have taken a pregnancy test and the second line is faint but I am unsure if this is the control line or the test line. I am really hoping for some reassurance or some peoples experience.

That’s a positive, congratulations 🥰

When your hormone levels are high, the test line can steal dye from the control line, that’s why it looks faint xx

Nice strong positive. The dark line is the pregnancy line, once your levels get nice and high it steals dye from the control line which is the faint one on your test! Congrats.xx

Strong positive. At 18 days surely your clinic should be aware of this by now? You can always request (might need to pay) for blood tests to check HcG levels are rising as they should

I had the exact same looking result (apparently it's called a dye stealer when the pregnancy line takes from the control line) it's a very strong positive test congratulations 🥳! I am currently 16 weeks pregnant and all is going well so far. 😊❤️

Wow, thats an EXTREMELY positive test! Can you see how the test line has stolen all the dye from the control line? This is called a Dye stealer! Congratulations.
