Hello, I have had 2 failed donor embryo transfers. The clinic have said everything was optimal on my last transfer. The only thing they would possibly change would be to do a stimulated natural cycle. Has anyone done one of these? What does it involve and was it successful? I have also asked for me progesterone and he has said he can prescribe me lubion- 2 injections a day.
Stimulated natural cycle : Hello, I... - Fertility Network UK
Stimulated natural cycle
Hello NicsJ, I’m sorry to hear about your unsuccessful transfers. I had a number of chemical pregnancies throughout my IVF journey and tried lots of different things. My last transfer, which was my successful one (currently 27 weeks pregnant), was a medicated FET. I assume this is the same as a natural stimulated cycle, but might be wrong? This worked well for me even though I’d had no problems before. My lining was always thick and I didn’t have issues with ovulation but the medicated FET seemed to help me along the way. I also had my progesterone levels checked a couple of days after my transfer and they were a little below where they should be, so my dosage of progesterone increased from 1 x Lubion a day + 2 pessaries, to 2 x Lubion a day + 2 pessaries. It’s good that your clinic are already willing to do this.
Hope my story is of some help and I wish you the very best of luck as you move forward xx
I'm sorry they've failed. Please read my profile as there maybe something that I did to get my babies that you could add or test for in your protocol? You'll get there there is sometimes about finding that missing piece to the puzzle...best of luck. Feel free to message me xx
