Sorry for the delay in posting. I do so to give people hope that they might come out of the other side of their IVF journey. If you find birth announcements upsetting, which is completely understandable, then please do scroll on by.
We were blessed with the birth of our beautiful Evie on 1st October and we continue to be so overwhelmed with love and gratitude that often I will just stare at her and thank my lucky stars!
As a reminder, I am 43 (just turned) and our IVF journey has been nearly 5 years now. I’ve had 3 egg collections, PGT testing, 2 failed transfers, a cancelled cycle, 2 missed miscarriages and so many investigations (including an ERA) I can’t list them all. I really wasn’t sure it was going to work for us. And then it did. I’ve had a counsellor for a year after our second miscarriage and that has kept me from going completely gaga! I have an under active thyroid and a very thin lining that has caused me so much stress! I know a lot of people are in the same boat as I was and I just wanted to say that there is hope 😊. I know people are especially concerned with age so thought that might encourage people too.
I honestly do understand the stress that you’re under in this journey and wish you ALL the very best. All the time you continue with IVF, you have to have hope 😊. Thank YOU so much for all of your support. I couldn’t have got through it without you wonderful, strong people 😘. What an amazing forum this is to support each other through the hardest of journeys.
Xx
