I just wanted to write to give hope to those who are going through a tough journey, to show that miracles can happen. Amelie was born on 03/08/19 at 37 wks weighing 6lb 10oz and is thriving, I couldn’t ask for anything more precious and I’m totally in love.💗.I had IVF using egg donor and donor sperm. The pregnancy was complex with episodes of repeated bleeding and near the end I had pre -eclampsia and decreased fetal movements with many admissions to hospital, but all turned out good and we are both doing very well, even though at times it was very stressful and caused a lot of anxiety as at the beginning I didn’t even know if my pregnancy would continue til the end as I bleed from 5wks and continued on and off until I was 24 wks , I just wanted to write this to show that complications do not always mean a negative outcome. I wish everybody going through IVF all the best and hope your dreams come true.
Sorry for the long post 😊

I hope you don’t mind if I ask - has the anxiety eased now she is here or are you just worrying about a load of other things as everyone tells me I will?!?
I think the Anxiety is definitely less, but yes I think you do still worry about other things like dressing them in the hot weather , are they having enough milk, are they progressing normally etc . I think because you know your responsible for this little person but there so worth it and I wouldn’t change a thing, I think as I’m adjusting to motherhood and you get into a routine things become easier, also when you get reassurance from the health care professionals telling you there doing well gives you more confidence in what your doing .
Thank you - that’s good to know! When I say I’ll relax when I’m holding my baby everyone rolls their eyes and says that’s when the worry really starts. But then they haven’t been through what we’ve been through...
Thank you I’ve had the name picked for a very long time. Just as well I had a girl as I was struggling with boys names. I hope your pregnancy is going well 😊
Congrats Amelie she is adorable pretty name too. These posts are so important to give others hope that miracles can happen ❤️ Enjoy every moment with your precious baby xxx
Thank you I really hope others feel more positive and it will help them get through tough times, also show that miracles can happen amongst the challenges faced. I found this forum really helpful through my IVF journey and pregnancy.😊
