Hi, I started my meriofert today , just a quick question , is it supposed to be hard to inject ? Like , it didn’t hurt , but my partner said he had to apply quite a bit of pressure to the needle when pressing down , is that normal ?

Needle pressure
I've just done my last day of Meriofert and it wasn't particularly hard to inject. I wonder if it was just a crap syringe?
ooo good luck with this round lovely! x
I have found that with some syringes I almost need to 'pop' the skin to get them in - maybe he was just being a little too gentle so he didn't hurt you. I guess thats maybe why they call injections 'jabs' in some countries - I sort of needed to jab them in sometimes! Good luck for your round x
Hi lovely , thanks so much for the reply , but it wasn’t the part to get it into the skin , he had to apply the pressure to get the meriofert out ? Does it makes sense ? Like it was hard to empty the jab .. 🤷🏼♀️
Oh sorry I see what you mean! Yes I found this with blood thinners, agree with Millbanks its best to go really slowly and sometimes you do need to move spot, its quite random! Good luck with your cycle again! x
We found that with lubion - sometimes it almost wouldn't go in at all! I found that just taking it really slowly helped. I also think the spot that you choose to inject also has an affect - sometimes it went in really easily, then I'd move half a cm to the left and it would be almost impossible. No advice really except just stick with it!
