Bleeding 3 weeks 5 days after D&C

Hi, I had a D&C 3 weeks 5 days ago and bleed after for 5 days....so it has been 3 weeks since bleeding has stopped and today I bleeding, could this be my normal period again? I am starting ivf again when period comes so just want to know anyone’s advice on this? X

Sorry to hear about your D&C. I had one in March and my period returned exactly 28 days afterwards. I was able to have a FET from this bleed.

Thanks for your reply...very sorry to hear you also went through this....did your period return 28 days from the date of D&C or 28 days from when you stopped bleeding after the D&C? Do you think this is my period then?

How did your FET go after your D&C if you don’t mind me asking? Xx

I was very lucky not to bleed much after my D&C, I’m sure it stopped the day after. It was 28days after the op that I had my period. I would say yes it most probably is your period. Our FET ended in a negative result but I don’t think this had anything to do with the timings after our miscarriage if that’s what you are thinking. I don’t think there is a right or wrong time to try again after a loss as long as you are comfortable with it all xx

Yes I would think this is probably your period. Good luck with your next round. I was advised to wait 3 months before going again x

Hi Vicky. If you're not too sure where you are with your cycle, they may wanty you to wait until you have another one, which will probable turn out to be a more normal one for you. Hope all goes well. Diane
