I am due to test Sunday but started spotting brownish blood on Weds this week, little more yesterday and then full on fresh red last night and this morning.
Is this the end? Has anyone had a full bleed and still had a positive? It’s my first cycle and was a good grade 2 so I really (foolishly) thought it was going to be a happy ending for me. Instead I feel broken.
There are ladies who do get a positive with bleeding like this but unfortunately it's not a great sign. It is important to keep going with the meds until OTD - I know how hard that is to do as I also bled early on my first round but keep taking them just in case. If it is indeed unsuccessful, ask your clinic to test or at least increase your progesterone on the next round, as early bleeding often indicates low progesterone. I was absolutely crushed when my first round failed and coming of the progesterone I did find tough for about a week. Be extra kind to yourself over the next couple of weeks, no matter what the outcome. And hard though it is to think about now, this round will have informed the next one so some positive changes can be made, xx
I’m so sorry to hear. As purpledoggy said, it can still be a positive - I’ve heard a few stories like that - so it’s important to go on with the meds till test day . but agree it’s not a great sign. I had the same in my last round and it’s heart breaking - but we’re now trying again with higher progesterone . You learn from each round, and once you’ve let yourself grieve and feel the pain you just need to pick up and go again…. Keeping fingers crossed for you as everything is still possible! 🤞🙏x

I got several input from ladies that went through the same and are currently having a successful pregnancy. When i started bleeding, i took a test and it came back positive.

Hi FilmGeek. Oh dear, so sorry to hear this. It doesn't sound like good news, but we do occasionally get ladies with a positive result after bleeding. Just carry on with any prescribed medication and have a rest when you can. Thinking of you. Diane
