11dp5dt. Faintest line on first response.

I am so confused!

Today is my official test day (11dpt). I had a 5dt FET on 26th Aug. I am an early tester so have tested pretty much every day from 5dp5dt and every test has been negative. So I ruled myself out pretty early on, as with my son (IVF fresh transfer 3 years ago) I was a fairly strong positive from 5dp. Also my chemical in February after a FET, got a positive at 5dp.

So I had an absolute shock this morning when I saw the faintest (and I mean faintest) line on my first response. I took it just to tick off I'd done it on official day. My husband saw the line too, so I know it was real. It came up in about 1.5 minutes but now it's like it's faded away.

Digital said not pregnant but that was with 2nd wee of the day. I did another first response this afternoon and it's negative. Called the clinic and they'll do a blood test on Wednesday. I will test again in the morning.

It's so cruel as I'd started to come to terms with the negative outcome but this has thrown a spanner in the works.

Is it even possible to get a faint line this late on?! I don't even know how it's physically possible for implantation to be so late. I'm so confused. I am 100% expecting bad news.

Hi IVFmumma Just make sure to use your first pee of the day as it will be the most concentrated sample cos as the day goes on you drink more & your urine is more diluted

Good luck

Iโ€™m day 9 today (post fresh 5d transfer) so we are cycle buddies! Reading up on low or slow hcg readings in the v v early stages and there are some good stories out there. My anecdotal understanding is that frozen transfers are often a bit delayed in their implantation. Good luck for your wed test! ๐Ÿคž๐Ÿป

Btw did you use a FRER?

Thank you! How is your cycle going?? Yes I have read all the stories too and was holding onto hope - I have been using FRER for every test so I get consistent results. Costs me a small fortune! I'm still getting the faint line today even. That's 4 days of a super faint line. I had a blood test yesterday and will get the results today.... I'm not holding out hope ๐Ÿ˜Ÿ but will see what the doctor says. Hope your feeling good about your little embaby ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป x

Iโ€™m getting my blood test today (d11p5dt), also not hopeful but not sure how informative my โ€œurine whisperingโ€ has been - it def went up from d8 to d9 as I could register it on less sensitive tests then, but theyve not really got much darker since. Annoying!

Mine is 36 so not looking good - not sure if it means any chance of a viable pregnancy?

Hello - how are you getting on? I'm not sure what 36 means but I heard it doesn't necessarily matter what the baseline number is, only that it doubles every 48 hours ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป did you have a repeat blood test beta done? I hope you've had better news.... XMine wasn't good news I'm afraid... After blood results they had me stop meds and I've just got my period. What a blow.

Sorry about your beta :( - was it very low or just negative? Mine has doubled to 72 in 48h but Iโ€™ve had bleeding and cramping so think itโ€™s just a matter of time before a miscarriage - assume the cyclogest is keeping a proper bleed at bay.. at this point Iโ€™m just hoping itโ€™s not an ectopic and also that itโ€™s over ASAP so I can get back on the FET wagon!

It came back just negative ๐Ÿ˜” which makes me think the lines on the tests were all in my head (but they definitely weren't!). But at least it was a definitive answer for us and we can now move on and not be in limbo.

That's really good that your numbers doubled. But I'm sure you are feeling anxious with the bleeding and cramping. I'm sure you've read 1000 times that bleeding and cramping *can* be fine ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป but I think deep down we know in our gut don't we. I do hope you're wrong though. Do you have more blood work to check again? X
