False first response

Hello i was on day 11 yesterday and caved in and did a test in the evening and was negative:(I then did 2 more of the strip tests and 1 had a very faint line on which gave me a bit of hope but then woke up this morninv and did another strip test and its negative again.

Has anyone had this before?

Just confusing as there was defo a very faint line on the top test.

My official test day is tomorrow

Lost alot of hope now

Anyone had this and gone on to have a positive after?

did you try again in the morning with first morning urine with all tests? Typically clinics ask you to test on your official test day with first morning urine and report back as your urine is most concentrated then x

Ive tried again this morning and the strip test is completely negative again even though the one i did last night had a faint line so i am now confused i will try again in the morninh but ive pretty much given up hope now ☹️ its just hard to let go isnt it x

I’m so sorry, these strip tests can be really cruel sometimes. I’ve had false positives with them before. Hope you’re ok x

Hi. All you can do is to lkem with prescribed medication including Folic and get it backed up with a blood test. You’ve obviously checked the use by date. Don’t know what else to say. Diane

So sorry. This happened to me and the HCG came back with a really low number so it was a chemical 😢
