Hi ladies, anyone else having large raised itchy areas to lubion injections? I've had 5 cycles of ivf now (fet) and only the last 3 have used lubion, the last 2 were in 2019 and I'm currently in the 5th and I'm 2 days away from transfer. I did my first lubion injection and it hurt like a b**ch and 2 days later I've now got a large raised red area that is itching like crazy π thankfully yesterdays is a small non itchy patch but god that first one ouch!!
Please tell me it gets better and I've just forgot how horrid these are π€¦π»ββοΈπ€£

Hi, my firstly injection was the worst, not itchy so much but raised and tender for 24hrs or more. Are you warming the vile first? Stick it between your legs or armpit for a couple of mins before. I think it helps a little and inject really slowly.
Still now I get a raised area after etc but I realised that my left side recovers better than my right so try and do them in that side until Im too sore that side π
Yes me being an idiot forgot about warming it on the first one π€¦π»ββοΈ but thankfully remembered yesterday. I'm dreading doing my clexane injection as well as lubion. At least clexane just stings a bit.
Currently lying in bed after administering 2nd lubion dose 3 hours ago. I canβt really see anything but feel like Iβve done 1000 sit ups. Itβs the most uncomfortable injection Iβve done, goes in fine but this aching is annoying to say the least!
I've been doing mine in my upper thighs - I hope that's not wrong or less effective than abdomen... I'm on 2 a day and they hurt and I get a raised lump, then what feels like a bruise for a couple of days after - the actual visible bruises aren't that bad though so I guess it's the fat/muscle that's getting irritated. The first one was the worst but after that I haven't really noticed it getting better, more maybe I know what to expect.
Well it's been a few days now and my stomach has got 3 red patches π€¦π»ββοΈ ache isn't too bad today but my god my belly itches on those patches. I'm thinking of asking to use 2 cyclogest instead π€
I had a lot of pain at the injection site and a large pale swollen area. Using 30G needles and injecting very slowly helps with the immediate pain and I found over time the pain post injection was a bit less. I just had to keep reminding myself why I was doing it! Xx
Thank you ladies for your replies. My stomach is a mix of patches and bruises but thankfully non have gotten any worse do that makes me feel better, itchy but better π€£
