Period cramps at night from 3dpt. Did anyone else get these with a positive outcome?

I’m now 6dpt 5dt and still having period cramps at night and briefly on and off in the day. Not bad enough I need pain killers but bad enough I could imagine period starting? I know I won’t know till test day which is not till the 25th but just interested to see what other people experienced. Thanks 😊

Hi Emr. It could just be down to the use of progesterone pessaries/gel, if you have been prescribed them. Try drinking some extra water - sometimes helps. Good luck! Diane

I had the same, every night from 2/3dpt and i am still getting them now on and off. I'm 9 weeks today. For me, it was a good sign. Good luck lovely x

It was a good sign for me… I’m 9wks tomorrow and I STILL get cramps that feel like my period is coming. Had a scan yesterday and everything was fine so it’s clearly just the womb stretching and adjusting! 🥰 x

I haven’t had a period for years, but after embryo transfers I always get what feels like ‘period cramps’. It was odd to have that feeling back again after the first transfer. Now I just think it’s part of the process - for me, anyway.

Because my body doesn’t create the right hormones on its own, I know it’s not my period coming, which is one thing I don’t have to stress about. I only get a withdrawal bleed if I stop taking the hormone medication.

I’m on 4dpt and this period cramps that started on 2dt getting to much, on my normal period I don’t feel any pain but I always have Pre Menstrual Syndrome the pains that comes before period and that is what am feeling now One side of me is scared but I’m hoping for best 🤞
