Era transfer

I did ERA PGT-a, i did transfer today but my doctor started my progesterone from last week and she offered me when i want to go for transfer? Any day next week( is this possible? I thought after ERA they need to select one day for me not my choice day

Do you have the results from your Era? That should tell you the exact number of hours of progesterone that you need???!!!!

My doctor has all reports, I don’t have. But i got confused after reading all ERA post here that why they asked me to choose transfer day

Oh wow that sounds so confusing!

The whole point of doing an Era is to work out when to do it, so you should go with that!!

Do you know if the Era showed you as being receptive?

And do you know how many days / hours you did it for the Era test?

Yes its receptive, they told me to take injections from which day and they started estradiol 15 days before my transfer and they started vaginal progesterone meds 1 week before my transfer(transferred today) confusing part is why they asked me choose my transfer day Thursday yo next week Thursday?

That is wrong from my point of view. My clinic was telling me the exact hour to start my progesterone, so they could organise the transfer and the thawing of the embryo. Also because I was doing it in Spain, they always wanted to see you in person 2 hours before transfer and then they were thawing the embryo. Give your clinic a call and ask again, just tell them that you might have misunderstood something. Otherwise have your transfer 5 days after starting progesteron, this is standard for those who haven't done Era test. Although sounds like a really silly advice 🙄😃 definitely insist on a proper reply why they are doing this way. Take care 💕

They didn’t tell me exact hour , they told me start “today “ never asked my time , and transfer also done today

Oh you had the transfer today?!! How many days of progesteron you had then?

I started superfact inj from 8july to 13 august and I started my projestrone external tablets from 14 aug

I am not an expert but I can tell you my example/experience, one of my transfers was done on 26th of the month and progesterone I started on 20th at 10 in the evening. I am receptive, like most of the women. Fingers crossed 🍀☺️ let's hope you chose the right date and time.

If it came back as receptive then you could go with the same as you did last time, but I would be insisting on getting the results and exact number of hours. Without that it seems your Era was a waste!! Good luck, I hope they clear it up for you! This is so hard as it is you dont need added stress, Confusion and worry!

Yeah, that doesn't seem right. The ERA test will tell you the number of hours to be on progesterone, give or take three hours. So you have a three hour window, but that is it. If they told you to start progesterone already, they should already know the transfer day and time. Definitely follow up with the clinic.

Oh I see you already had the transfer! I'm sure they are happy with the timings else the clinic wouldn't have gone through with it. I hope you can trust it and enjoy your 2ww as pupo! X
