I’ve been testing with Early Response since 10dp5dt and have had a BFP. I tested with the Clear Blue digital this morning and it came back ‘Not Pregnant’. Am I out or is it too early for the digital test?
Any shared experience or advice would be greatly appreciated 💕

I know how worrying this is as I am right there with you agonizing over test lines and digital. From what I've read some people get results on FRERs from very early and others not until much later so I would take the early positives as good. I *think* the FRERs can detect HCG down to something very low like 6 whereas the clear blue are more like 20-25. I only say this because with my last two chemicals I was frantically trying to work out my HCG while waiting for bloods. I got positives on FRERs from 5dp5dt, then "pregnant 1-2" on or around OTD. When I tested a few days later just for reassurance, the FRER lines were noticeably lighter. I still got pregnant 1-2 on clear blue. Within a day or two that went to not pregnant, but I still had (increasingly faint) lines on FRER. The last time I got my blood HCGs and a positive on clear blue, it was 20. But I think HCG levels can fluctuate quite a lot early on - mine are always a lot higher in the evening than morning.
Have you done clear blue before and got pregnant, or is it your first time using that test? If the latter maybe it's too early or you need to do it at a different time of day. If you've been doing FRERs I'd also be tempted to do another couple of those to see if the lines a very different to what you've been seeing. Most certain is to go to your clinic or GP to get blood HCG checked, if you can, two days apart. It's still early and sorry you're going through this stress. X
Thank you so much for your reply. I also did a First Response on my second wee and the line is so so faint, much fainter than 2 days ago so I think unfortunately it is a chemical. It’s our last try so it’s very sad but these things happen. Wishing you all the best on your journey 🍀 xx
If you're in any doubt, maybe see if you can get blood tests to confirm. And yes call the clinic in case there is anything they can suggest. If it doesn't stay though I am so very sorry. It's heartbreaking x
I did drink a lot of water but that was last night and I tested on my first wee this morning having had no water this morning. I will tell the clinic tomorrow but I’m not holding out much hope! Thank you for your reply 💕
Unfortunately I’d say by 16dp5dt you should definitely have had a BFP on a digital - they are actually a lot more sensitive than people think. They are something like 96% accurate from the day of your missed period which woild be around 9dp5dt - if you are also only getting faint lines on other tests then sadly this sounds like a chemical x
